Sale of Ihunga Crafts gets off to a great start

As part of the ongoing efforts of The Friends of AICM and AICM in Uganda to establish sustainable income generating activities a number of craft items made by the Ihunga Womens Groups have been imported to the UK and went on sale to staff at the Charities Aid Foundation recently.  A total in excess of £370 was raised which will be used to purchase and ship more goods to the UK as well as providing an injection of £200 to assist the Ihunga Womens Groups.

This is an ongoing initiative that can only benefit from greater involvement from supporters and friends of The Friends of AICM:  If you are interested and able to organise a sale of craft goods, or have contacts with wholesale or retail outlets that will would be interested in stocking these items contact us at enquiries@aicm.org.uk
