Community Health

Kyobugombe Health CentreImmunisations, malaria treatment and health education (not least AIDS) are the major features here. AICM has worked with other agencies to provide this care.

Whilst Government authorities provide medical staff for clinics, it is very much the responsibility of the community to provide and maintain Health Centres. AICM has helped in the establishment of six such centres. One of these is at Kyobugombe – largely built by a team of students from Trinity College, Oxford, with Trevor Williams, Chairman of the Friends of AICM.
